This recipe turns a classic loaf into a warm, indulgent dish that feels like an impressive dessert in a matter of minutes. With rich butterscotch flavours, creamy hokey pokey ice cream, smooth caramel sauce, and a sprinkling of crushed biscuits for that perfect crunch.

 

The best part? It’s incredibly easy to make. No complicated baking, no long prep time, just simple ingredients. Whether you’re hosting friends, treating the family, or simply looking for a cosy night in dessert, this Hokey Pokey Butterscotch Delight is sure to impress.

 

It’s a versatile recipe too – switch out the ice cream flavour, add chocolate sauce, or top with nuts for your own twist. However you serve it, this dessert is guaranteed to become a new favourite.

Method:

 

  1. Preheat and prep: Warm your oven to 160°C. Slice the Butterscotch Loaf into 1cm thick slices.
  2. Toast: Place on a lined baking tray and toast for 5-7 minutes.
  3. Add a scoop of hokey pokey ice cream to each warm slice. (Tip: Dip your scoop in warm water for easier scooping of ice cream!)
  4. Finish: Drizzle the caramel sauce generously over each slice, sprinkle with crushed biscuits for extra crunch!

 

Chef’s Tip: You can pair our Loaves with any of your own toppings or ice creams. Fresh berries or chopped nuts also make a lovely finishing touch.
