Assistant Store Manager – christchurch

We have an opportunity in our Christchurch stores for an Assistant Retail Assistant Store Manager.  This is a hands-on role supporting the Store Manager to bring the retail offer to life for the customer.

 

The successful candidate be responsible for

• Managing the store in absence of the Store Manager.
• Inventory Management, as well as overseeing various areas of the store including management of the retail sales area.
• Recording and managing stock arrivals and deliveries.
• Cash Handling and end of shift processes
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high quality store standards.

 

Applicants for this position should have the following:

• Ability to use your knowledge, skills and experience to grow and expand our business.
• Must have excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Minimum 1 year’s experience in a similar role.
• Leads by example
• Great customer service skills

This is a full-time role that includes working one weekend day each week.  You should be physically fit, as heavy lifting is required.
